Fashion week went by in what felt like a blur this year and whilst the world was obsessed with Rihanna’s Savage Fenty bonanza and moving walkways from Gucci, our Creative Director of hair, Alessio Matta was checking out the hair trends from every single runway show, ready to recreate them in his own signature style for AW19. This week, we take a dip into what you should be doing with your hair this season – prepare yourself for a new look!
Of course, we all know that blonde is never going to go anywhere but this subtle update will make you feel like you’ve had a complete revamp. ‘Golden – beige’ is an update on the platinum colours we’ve been seeing of late, it’s softer, richer and will make the client look ‘expensive’. The key to this look is making sure that you get the right shade for your skin tone, this is certainly where ‘suitability’ comes into play. Sit down with your stylist to determine what kind of blonde you’ll be.
Ever had dark hair and wanted to be blonder OR had blonde hair and wanted to be darker, well this trend has you covered! The perfect hybrid of a deep, rich blonde and a shiny lighter brunette we’ll be championing this shade to all of our customers looking to take the leap to either look.
Well we couldn’t write a trend blog without championing the Pantone Colour of the Year, ‘Living Coral’. Not just for interior trends or pretty Instagram posts, this shade has some serious clout in the fashionable hair stakes. We’re big fans of the variations from wash ins, to semi-permanent shades and bold forever looks this is the one we’ll be championing for the season.
A light and neutral shade for the season, take care of your hair with this manageable brunette shade. Scalable for your skin-tone, this colouring is one you’ll have no problem with rocking no matter if you’re fair, olive-skinned or have a darker complexion – our kind of colour.
Another look for the bold of hair and this one might be the one we want to try the most. Faded pastel is maximum impact with minimum commitment and we can see this one being your ‘thing’. How would you like to rock a new pastel shade in the office every few weeks? Us too – let’s do it!
Well there you have it, if you’re looking for your AW19 hair transformation and have been inspired by this post, don’t worry we have you covered – there has never been a time to book in for your new look.
